Bird Island

(fr. Ile aux Vaches) - Island in the Indian Ocean, belonging to Republic of Seychelles, one of the few island s of origin of coral islands in the archipelago of the Interior. Of surface it is less than a square kilometer. The island was dis covered in 1776. Bird Island is known for its diversity of living species of birds. The breeding season lasts from May to September - you can see numerous herds laying birds or eggs wysiadujÄ…cych near beaches. The island is also a place of occurrence of giant turtles.
